Finally had a chance to make my re-cycled/re-purposed tags using those envelopes I found while cleaning up. I carefully took the envelopes apart and separated this incredibly bright floral patterned paper from the rest of the envelope and mounted it onto pink cardstock. The patterned paper was so thin - almost like tissue paper. I don't know how old it is but it looks like it's from the 1960s or 1970s. I have a small stack of other interesting papers to turn into tags. It's so much fun to recycle!
