I finally got to Michael's this past weekend to check out the Fall decoration items. I bought a few things (all on sale for 40-70% off - woo!), including this white craft pumpkin. The possibilities for decorating a white craft pumpkin are endless - but I settled on something very simple and subtle and SPARKLY.
I used Martha Stewart glue to paint lines of glue going down the pumpkin.
I had this teal sequin trim (also from Michael's) in my craft stash and decided it was perfect. You could also use ribbon for the same effect.
I cut the trim into strands of varying lengths and pressed them against the glue. All done! Easy! The trim reminds me of spider legs and, if it wasn't for Halloween coming up, I would totally hate this. But, 'tis the season for creepy crawlies. I think my blinged out pumpkin is the perfect addition to my Fall decor.
What have you crafted lately?
